For many students the variety and range of activities available in the Elac Activity Programme meets their needs. Other individuals, however, may have an interest in focusing entirely on one particular activity. Elac can offer the opportunity to gain a deeper and more intense experience in a range of specialist programmes so you can find the course that is right of for you.
Art & Photography
Bath Spa University
Bath Spa University is set in a beautiful rural campus just outside the historic city of Bath, and both of these settings are utilised in delivering our specialist activity in Art and Photography. The course introduces students to new techniques and gives the opportunity to work collaboratively and to choose an area of focus. There is a gallery exhibition at the end of the course where students showcase their work.

CLIL (Content & Language Integrated Learning)
Ardingly College, Bath Spa University & Christ’s Hospital School
This course is particularly suitable for students who prefer a more academic option. There will be additional classroom sessions in small groups focusing on developing English but through the study of other curriculum subjects such as Geography, History, Business, and Current Affairs.

Cookery
Christ’s Hospital School
This course, based in the brand new Food Technology rooms at Christ’s Hospital, is suitable both for those new to cooking and also more experienced students who want to develop their skills further. A chance to learn to create food from around the world as well as some classic British dishes.

Football
Ardingly College & Christ’s Hospital School
Elac are offering two exciting football camps for 11-17 year old students. These programmes, run by qualified football coaches who have experience of working with young players will be running at both our Ardingly College and Christ's Hospital School centres. Students will receive training kit as part of the programme, and an opportunity to practice their skills every afternoon.

Performing Arts
Bath Spa University
Bath Spa University has a specialism in performing arts and so is the perfect venue for those students who want to focus on this activity. Students will have a chance to work together on a performance piece that they can showcase at the end of course Talent Show.

Watersports
Ardingly College
Ardingly College is situated next to a large lake where students can learn how to kayak, paddle board, canoe or sail. A great choice for those who want to spend their activity sessions outside on the water, and learn some new skills.
